(6) Install the RVDT 4GC (16) (Ref. TASK 32-51-19-400-001) -engage the spigot (20) in the hole (21) on the ADJUSTING TOOL - NWS GEARBOX (13), -make sure that it is flush with the N/WS gearbox (13). NOTE : Lightly lybricate the packing of the sensor 4GC with COMMON ____ GREASE (Material No. 04-015).
(7) Connect the SENSOR-VOLTAGE TEST (F26792000) or SENSOR - VOLTAGE TEST (F26792000-1) (18) between the connector (19) and the RVDT 4GC (16).
(8) Connect an AC voltmeter (minimum range: 0-20V, accuracy: 1 mV, frequency: 50-2000 Hz) to the SECONDARY VOLTAGE connections on the SENSOR-VOLTAGE TEST (F26792000) or SENSOR - VOLTAGE TEST (18).
(9) On panel 402VU, put the A/SKID & N/W STRG switch in ON position.
(10) Stage 12: (a) On the ADJUSTING TOOL - NWS GEARBOX, turn the two knurled adjusters (14) to move the drive plate (12) of the gearbox (10) to get the algebraic difference between U1 and U2 secondary voltage: D (value calculated on stage 7) (U1 - U2) = D NOTE : When you turn the knurled adjusters, the gear box plate ____ (12) moves and changes the secondary voltages U1 and U2. When you turn the knurled adjusters: - in one direction, U1 increases and U2 decreases,
- in the other direction, U2 increases and U1 decreases.
(b) Record the voltages U1 and U2 (in AC voltage). (11) Tighten the two knurled adjusters (14) to keep the position of the drive plate.
(12) On panel 402VU, put the A/SKID & N/W STRG switch in OFF position.
(13) Remove the RVDT 4GC (16) (Ref. TASK 32-51-19-000-001).
(14) Tighten the screws (11) through elongated holes of the ADJUSTING TOOL
(15) Install the RVDT 4GC (16) (Ref. TASK 32-51-19-400-001).
(16) On panel 402VU, put the A/SKID & N/W STRG switch in ON position.

(a) On the SENSOR-VOLTAGE TEST (F26792000) or SENSOR - VOLTAGE TEST
(18) set the selector switch to U1.
(b) Record the voltage (U1)(in AC voltage).
(c) On the SENSOR-VOLTAGE TEST (F26792000) or SENSOR - VOLTAGE TEST
(18) set the selector switch to U2.
(d) Record the voltage (U2)(in AC voltage).
(e) Check that the algebraic value H: (U1 - U2) = H = D +/- 10mV
(f) If the value H is not in the limits, do the procedure from step
(18) If the value is correct, on panel 402VU, put the A/SKID & N/W STRG switch in OFF position.
(19) Remove the RVDT 4GC (16) (Ref. TASK 32-51-19-000-001).
(20) Loosen the knurled adjusters (14).
(21) Remove the ADJUSTING TOOL - NWS GEARBOX (13).
(22) Remove the SENSOR-VOLTAGE TEST (F26792000) or SENSOR - VOLTAGE TEST (18).
(23) Install the RVDT 4GC (16) (Ref. TASK 32-51-19-400-001).
(24) Connect the electrical connector (19) to the RVDT 3GC (16). Subtask 32-51-00-865-084 F. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 3GG, 4GG, 2EN1, 2EN2 1EFF : 001-004, 051-054, 1 32-51-00Page 565 1 1 Aug 01/05R 1 1 1CES 1
