Pneumatic system operation is controlled and monitored by two Bleed Monitoring Computers (BMC 1 and 2), the overhead control panel and the ECAM. An intermediate pressure check valve, mounted downstream of the IP port , closes to prevent air from HP stage being circulated to the IP stage.
