The navigation status/options pages let the flight crew monitor the status of the navaids tuned by the FMCS. Page Access Access to the PROGRESS page is by selection of the PROG mode key on the MCDU. Access to the NAV STATUS page is from one of these pages: * POS SHIFT page * PROGRESS page * INIT/REF INDEX page (in the air). Progress Page 1/3 This page shows airplane progress on the active route. The flight number entered on the ROUTE page shows in the title line. The flight number may contain up to 8 alphanumeric characters. The flight number clears when the flight is complete. Select the PROG mode select key on the CDU to get access to this page. Lines 1L and 1R show the FROM data field. They show the waypoint identifier, heading, altitude, actual time of arrival (ATA) and fuel at the last waypoint. Lines 2L and 2R show the TO data field. They show this data: * Active waypoint * Heading * Distance-to-go (DTG) * Estimated time of arrival (ETA) * Fuel remaining at that waypoint. The active waypoint is highlighted. Lines 3L and 3R show the NEXT data field. They show this data: * Subsequent waypoint * DTG * ETA * Fuel remaining. Lines 4L and 4R show the DESTINATION data field. It shows the same data as 3L and 3R for the destination airport. Line 5L shows the TO data field. This shows the time at and distance to one of these: * T/C (top of climb) * STEP POINT * T/D (top of descent) * E/D (end of descent). Line 6L shows the WIND data field. This shows the wind speed and direction. This data field will show dashes if no RTA waypoint is entered and no other data shows on this page. Line 2L shows the RTA SPD data field. This shows the speed schedule for the current flight phase necessary to meet the RTA. Line 3L shows the SPD REST data field. This shows the active default speed restriction during climb and descent. This data field is blank during cruise and on the ground. Line 4L shows the DIST TO data field. This shows the distance from the present position to the RTA waypoint. Lines 5L and 5R show the RTA WINDOW data field. This shows the earliest and latest arrival times at the RTA waypoint. Line 6L shows one of these prompts: * LIMITS (selects the PERF LIMITS page) * ERASE (shows when RTA data is being modified) * LOAD (shows when RTA data may be uplinked with an ACARS message). Line 1R shows the RTA prompt. The RTA time is entered in this data field by the flight crew. If no RTA waypoint is entered in LSK 1L, this data field is blank. Line 2R shows the TIME ERROR data field. This shows the most current time error at the RTA waypoint. Line 3R shows the GMT data field. This shows current time. Line 4R shows the ALT/ETA data field.
